Day Trip Itinerary

Early Morning: Pick-Up & Drive to Ngorongoro

Your safari begins early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. You will drive through scenic landscapes, Maasai villages, and the highlands toward Ngorongoro.

Upon arrival at the crater rim, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views before descending 600 meters into the crater floor for your game drive.

Midday: Game Drive & Picnic Lunch

Inside the crater, you will experience one of the best wildlife safaris in Tanzania. Animals you may see include:

• Lions and hyenas
• Elephants and buffalo
• Black rhinos (rare but possible!)
• Zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles
• Flamingos at Lake Magadi

Enjoy your picnic lunch at a scenic site inside the crater surrounded by nature and wildlife.

Afternoon: Continue Game Drive

After lunch, continue exploring the crater floor with your professional guide, visiting different habitats such as forests, swamps, and open grasslands.

This is the best time to spot predators and capture amazing wildlife photos.

Evening: Return to Moshi / Arusha

In the late afternoon, you will ascend the crater and begin your journey back. You will arrive at your hotel in the evening with unforgettable safari memories.
