Day 1 — Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your safari guide. Transfer to a comfortable mid-range lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a welcome dinner and relax after your journey, preparing for the adventure in the Serengeti.
Day 2 — Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Depart early from Arusha and drive to Serengeti National Park. Pass through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands with photo stops. Arrive in central Serengeti for your first afternoon game drive, spotting wildlife including lions, elephants, and wildebeests. Overnight at a mid-range lodge or tented camp within the park.
Day 3 — Serengeti Full Day Game Drives
Spend a full day tracking the Great Migration across the Serengeti plains. Observe huge herds of wildebeest and zebras, and watch predators such as lions and cheetahs in action. Day 5 — Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Depart Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy scenic stops en route and descend into the crater for a full afternoon of game viewing. Spot the Big Five — lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos — along with zebras, wildebeests, and flamingos. Overnight at a lodge on the crater rim with spectacular views.
Day 6 — Ngorongoro to Arusha & Departure
