Day 1 — Arrival & Luxury Beach Resort Check-in
Arrive at Zanzibar International Airport and enjoy a private transfer to your luxury beachfront resort. Spend the afternoon relaxing, taking your first photographs of the turquoise ocean and soft white sand beaches. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner while capturing sunset shots along the coast.
Day 2 — Stone Town Photography Tour
Explore UNESCO-listed Stone Town with a guided photography tour. Capture winding alleys, ornate doors, vibrant markets, and historic architecture. Stop at landmarks including the Old Fort, House of Wonders, and the Anglican Cathedral. Enjoy a traditional Swahili lunch and spend the afternoon photographing street life, artisans, and cultural details.
Day 3 — Spice Farm & Local Village Photography
Visit a traditional Zanzibar spice farm and photograph the aromatic plants, vibrant fruits, and working farmers. Participate in tastings and learn about Zanzibar’s spice heritage. Continue to a nearby village to capture local life, traditional crafts, and daily activities. Return to your resort for sunset photography along the beach.
Day 4 — Beach & Snorkeling Photography
Enjoy a full day on Zanzibar’s beaches capturing aerial and landscape shots. Participate in snorkeling excursions to photograph coral reefs and colorful marine life. Optional underwater photography guidance is available. Relax on the beach in the afternoon and capture golden hour sunsets.
Day 5 — Safari Blue & Marine Photography
Take the famous Safari Blue excursion to explore the Menai Bay Conservation Area. Capture breathtaking seascapes, sailboats, and dolphins in their natural habitat. Enjoy snorkeling and photograph colorful fish, coral gardens, and crystal-clear waters. Return to the resort for sunset shots and dinner by the beach.
Day 6 — Leisure Photography & Optional Diving
Enjoy a day at leisure, capturing the beauty of the resort surroundings and beaches. Optional diving or snorkeling activities provide opportunities for underwater photography. Explore hidden coves, mangroves, or local villages to enrich your portfolio. Evening free for creative photography or sunset shots.
Day 7 — Morning Leisure & Departure
Spend your final morning enjoying sunrise photography on the beach. After breakfast, a private transfer will take you to Zanzibar International Airport for departure, concluding your 7-day Zanzibar Photography Retreat with unforgettable images and memories of the island’s culture, beaches, and marine life.
