6 Days Northern Safari Adventure

Day 1 — Arrival in Arusha

Meals: Dinner | Accommodation: Arusha Lodge

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Nestled at the foothills of Mount Meru, Arusha offers a peaceful introduction to Tanzania’s natural beauty.

After check-in, relax in the garden surroundings or by the pool as you recover from your journey. In the evening, your guide will provide a detailed safari briefing explaining the adventure ahead, wildlife expectations, and travel tips. Enjoy a delicious dinner and prepare for the exciting days to come.

Day 2 — Tarangire National Park

Meals: B/L/D | Accommodation: Lodge

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive baobab trees and large elephant herds. The park is home to diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and countless bird species.

Enjoy a full-day game drive along the Tarangire River, the main water source attracting animals especially during the dry season. Witness elephants gathering near the riverbanks and predators quietly observing their prey.

In the late afternoon, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight while enjoying sunset views across the African savannah.

Day 3 — Journey to Serengeti National Park

Meals: B/L/D | Accommodation: Serengeti Camp

Today you journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, driving through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands with breathtaking views of rolling hills and Maasai villages.

As you enter Serengeti, the landscape opens into endless golden plains. Wildlife viewing begins immediately — you may encounter lions resting under acacia trees, cheetahs scanning the horizon, or large herds of wildebeests grazing across the plains.

Arrive at your tented camp in the evening where you will enjoy dinner under the African sky surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 4 — Full Day Serengeti Exploration

Meals: B/L/D | Accommodation: Serengeti Camp

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive when predators are most active. The Serengeti offers incredible opportunities to witness the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

Spend the day exploring different regions of the park, tracking wildlife movements and learning about animal behavior from your expert guide. Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration, one of nature’s most spectacular wildlife events.

Return to camp for relaxation, storytelling around dinner, and a peaceful night in the heart of the wild.

Day 5 — Ngorongoro Crater

Meals: B/L/D | Accommodation: Karatu Lodge

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders.

The crater floor is home to a dense concentration of wildlife including black rhinos, hippos, lions, hyenas, and large herds of buffalo. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool while surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and drive to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 — Lake Manyara & Return to Arusha

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch | Accommodation: N/A

On your final safari day, visit Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and scenic beauty. The park features groundwater forests, open plains, and the alkaline lake attracting flamingos and other birdlife.

Enjoy a morning game drive spotting monkeys, elephants, giraffes, and possibly lions resting in acacia trees. After lunch, begin your return journey to Arusha.

Drop-off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport with unforgettable memories of your Northern Tanzania adventure.
