Safari Overview

This 3-day safari takes you to three of Northern Tanzania’s most famous destinations: Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Experience elephant herds and baobab trees in Tarangire, tree-climbing lions and flamingos in Lake Manyara, and Big Five wildlife inside the Ngorongoro Crater — one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders.

Day 1 — Tarangire National Park

Meals: Lunch & Dinner | Accommodation: Lodge

Depart from Arusha in the morning for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive in the park famous for large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, lions, giraffes, zebras, and seasonal wildlife along the Tarangire River. Picnic lunch inside the park before transferring to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 — Lake Manyara National Park

Meals: B/L/D | Accommodation: Lodge near Ngorongoro

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. This park is known for its tree-climbing lions, hippos, flamingos, baboons, and diverse birdlife. The beautiful lake and forest scenery make it one of Tanzania’s most picturesque parks. Later transfer to your lodge near Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 — Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch | Accommodation: N/A

Early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. The crater is home to black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, then ascend the crater walls and return to Arusha in the afternoon.
