This 3-day safari combines two of Tanzania’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich parks. Explore Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, and Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and stunning Rift Valley scenery. Perfect for travelers with limited time who still want an unforgettable safari experience.

Day 1 — Tarangire National Park

Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive among ancient baobab trees and open savannah. Tarangire is home to massive elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a wide variety of bird species. Picnic lunch inside the park followed by afternoon wildlife viewing before heading to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2 — Lake Manyara National Park

Meals: B/L/D | Accommodation: Lodge near Manyara

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. This compact park offers diverse habitats including groundwater forests, open plains, and the alkaline lake. Spot flamingos, hippos, elephants, baboons, and the famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch and continue with an afternoon game drive.

Day 3 — Morning Game Drive & Return to Arusha

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch | Accommodation: N/A

Early morning optional short game drive or relaxation at the lodge. After breakfast, enjoy the scenic drive back to Arusha. Stop for lunch en route and enjoy beautiful views of the countryside. Drop-off at your hotel or transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
