Day 1 — Arrival & Trek to Base Camp

Begin trekking towards the volcano’s base camp, passing through open savannah, acacia woodlands, and small Maasai settlements along the way. Reach base camp in the late afternoon, enjoy a hearty dinner, and spend the night under the stars, surrounded by the dramatic volcanic landscape.
Day 2 — Summit Ol Doinyo Lengai & Descent
Begin a pre-dawn climb to reach the summit of Ol Doinyo Lengai in time for sunrise. After taking photos and enjoying the summit, carefully descend back to base camp, then transfer to your departure point in time for onward travel.
