Migration in April to May
During April to May, the Great Migration in Tanzania is a mesmerizing spectacle as vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move from the southern Serengeti plains towards the western corridor. This period marks the end of the calving season, and the animals begin their journey in search of greener pastures and water. The lush landscapes and the abundance of predators following the herds create dramatic scenes of survival and natural beauty. It’s a unique opportunity to witness the raw power and resilience of wildlife in one of nature’s most incredible events.
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania stay at African Tulip Hotel
Arrival in Tanzania, our staff will pick you up at Kilimanjaro international Airport and transfer to Arusha where you will have overnight at African Tulip hotel in Arusha. On your arrival at the hotel you will be given briefing about your Safari with your Driver guide or Office representative.

Day 2: Tarangire Natinal Park
After breakfast the driver guide will drive from the hotel to Tarangire National Park, 4 hours drive from Arusha to Tarangire, Tarangire is the third largest National park and sanctuary for an usually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are interested of the park; dwarf the animals that feed beneath them.
Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, and up six thousand elephant. Half day game drives in the park.

Maramboi Tented Camp offers permanent camp facilities and endless vistas of rolling golden grasslands and palm lined desert between Tarangire and Manyara Lake. Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you start you way to Serengeti National Park. A picnic Lunch will be provided. On your way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge where the anthropologists Lois and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originate in Africa.
After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive. Overnight at Serengeti Serena lodge

Day 4: Serengeti Migration full day game drive.
You will have breakfast at the lodge before we embark on an early morning game drive in the park. The migration consist of around 2 million animals, is on the move all year around. Depending on the season you may see this impressive phenomenon.
Naturally it attracts a mass of predators and you may be able to see band of lioness gather for a hunt. You will return to your lodge for sumptuous lunch to gather lunch for the afternoon strength game drive .

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning game drive to see nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light in the morning. After breakfast continue game drive, on your way to Naabi Hill Gate and towards Ngorongoro conservation area. Continue with game drive in Crater and overnight at Ngrongoro serena lodge .

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will descent into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with picnic lunch) within Ngorongoro Crater on world Heritage site holding a permanent population of more than 30,000 animals. As only very few of those migrate in and out of crater with its 2000 ft, high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. The crater is also home of the rare black rhino almost extinct in Tanzania. With a bit of luck you will see the “Big Five” during the game drive and later will drive to Arusha and overnight at African tulip hotel
Day 7: Transfer
Transfer to the airport and arrive there 2 hours before your final flight take off.
